EB-5 Investor Visa Program Extension

Please be advised that the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Pilot Program has been extended by Congress via Continuing Resolution, extending federal government funding through April 28^th, 2017. Included in the CR is a clean reauthorization of the EB-5 Regional Center Program through the same date.

We advise any current or future clients interested in investing in the United States to work with us to complete their EB-5 petitions no later than April 28^th, 2017.

Please be advised that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will be raising immigration filing fees, effective December 23^rd, 2016. I-829 Petition fees will stay the same, but fees for I-526 will increase to $3,675. Fees to apply for Regional Center Designation (I-924) will go up significantly, from $6,230 to $17,795, and there will be a new fee for I-924A to continue annual certification of an existing Regional Center, at $3,035.

Clients are advised to keep these new fees in mind when considering their immigration plans.
